The GNOME open source project has begun development by using g-org-gst. It enables community members to easily build, install and use the GNOME apps and other utilities and services. The project includes 3 sub-projects, including: g-org-gst and g-org-gpm
gnome-panel: a new panel that provides control over the GNOME Desktop Environment and the GNOME desktop server.
g-commons: g-comm-control was developed by a group of people, including some GNOME developers, at the GNOME Project in 2009 and has been maintained since then.
