But there has been a lot of news about the Ebola virus in Africa. The CDC did a very significant study last year and determined there were no infectious diseases in the United States at the time of the outbreak. I don’t know that it would have been so significant had the WHO been keeping track of what was on the books.

That’s not an option for Ebola. There are no signs that there are any Ebola-related illnesses that are going to be coming ashore in Africa in the future. We still have four years left, and it will be more than a year before those symptoms are brought back. So those are still the main threats. That’s the only option, with what is really going on.

HANNITY: Well, one has to look at what the current government did with its health and emergency services. How did you go from not being able to do your usual job of protecting people, protecting the health of the people involved in protecting you?

TRUMP: Well, they put a cap of 150 million people — 150 million people from that very, very, very expensive region, in quarantine for 30 days, until the symptoms and treatments and precautions. They had to start from scratch very quickly. And we’re just doing a terrific job. I think it’s just really a tremendous achievement.
