Hermani Foaming Face on The World Series: ‘Saving Jokes’
“No, he’s done it before. We’ve got that one guy, the guy named ‘Foaming Face,'” said pitcher Joc Pederson, who will make his major league debut on Wednesday’s Game 3 of the World Series.
Pederson made his major league debut in 2013 as a 17-year major league pitcher as part of a 10-man roster cut that lasted 10 seasons in Detroit. Though Pederson’s career was over before his retirement to form the St. Louis Cardinals in 2014, he had been enjoying some more success as a major league starting pitcher since then before he decided to retire.
“I think his timing would have been much better than that, but it’s just my experience that with the kind of situations that he plays in that’s a little bit different, I think a little more favorable,” said Pederson, who is not in a position to judge Pederson’s performance without having to pick his team.
